NEWS: GREEK FOSSIL SHARK TOOTH IS BEEING SOLD (It is way too overpriced)

NEWS:GREEK SHARK TOOTH FOSSIL IS BEEING SOLD FOR THE RIDICULOUS PRICE OF 960.000 EUROS!
Some 3 weeks ago, there was a road beeing made in a small area in the  greek village of Cephalonia called "Kaminarata". While this was happening, a fossilized shark tooth was found. The president of that place decided to post about it on Facebook (yep, Greek Facebook). Later the tooth was identified to be that of a shark, but no one really said which species, genus or even group of shark does it belong to. We only know it is 23 million years old. The president of this area decided to sell it for 962.000 euros to any museum. If no one is interested it will be just given to a nearby museum. Now, what is ridiculous in all that? A fragmentary shark tooth, found in Greece. If you know about gems, you should know that this kind of things doesn't catch up more than 200 euros. And even if this tooth can catch that price, I hope it is not sold but gifted. Fossils aren't items. Fossils are valuable science. They are evidence of the long gone past, and in an area so little known such as Kaminarata, I think that it should be given straight to a museum.

Below these you can see one of the facebook posts the area's president made, where he says the age of the fossil, along with its price.
